Attorney Bio
Michael Mummert — Founding Attorney
Attorney Michael Mummert has been practicing law in Florida for over 20 years. He launched his career as an Assistant Public Defender before joining Faga Law Group, PA, where he honed his skills as a litigation attorney focusing on criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation. Following the passing of his law partner, Antonio Faga, Michael founded Mummert & Starling, PLLC — eventually forming Mummert Law, PA in 2018.
Michael has completed over 50 jury trials, including a capital murder case, and more than 50 non-jury trials throughout his career. His extensive trial experience, deep knowledge of Florida law, and dedication to client outcomes make him one of Fort Myers’ most battle-tested litigators. He is a Florida Bar Member in Good Standing.
