Background
A Career Built in the Courtroom
Michael has practiced law in Florida for more than 20 years. He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender with the Public Defender's Office for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit, where he spent eight years handling criminal cases. He then joined Faga Law Group, PA, as a litigation attorney focused on criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation.
Following the passing of his law partner, Antonio Faga, Michael founded his own firm — eventually forming Mummert Law, P.A. in Fort Myers, where he continues to represent individuals and families across Southwest Florida.
